Dear Friends, It was in 2022 that The Angel Tehmussin first appeared to us, told us of the Universal Spectacular Spirit of all Humanity, gave us the promise of her support, and instructed us to sing of our world. Now our first album is released “Somewhere to Go”, and with it the whole great project of The Angel Tehmussin is launched: its themes and ideals of travel, adventure, music and discovery, inspired by a spiritual belief in divine purpose and the importance of the arts in human endeavour towards that goal - whatever, ultimately, it may be; our commitment to the arts as the most appropriate means of expression and stimulus for development and debate; and our belief in the necessity for individual freedoms and levels of education sufficient to permit intelligent democratic participation in life and society by all. And yes, this is still just the beginning. We have a long, long way to go. Our history goes back to the founding of Thirsty Horse LLC in Mongolia in 2004 as a company promoting the ideals of artistic expression and travel adventure, and now we have the opportunity and the motivation to take these ideals a huge leap further with the patronage of The Angel Tehmussin. So we founded Tehmussin Art & Music in India in 2022 as a vehicle to implement the message of the Angel in what is today the world’s most dynamic country; and we look forward to new opportunities to develop and realise our projects, and to further internationalise our activities. What we began in Mongolia we have now taken to India, Arabia,, and throughout the anglosphere, but we look to cover the whole world. The Thirsty Horse of Mongolia engendered many activities in Mongolia, including national art competitions, music concerts, and a serialization of the book on Mongolian radio. Now we are growing internationally and seeking to repeat these achievements on a much bigger scale. Please join us and support us in our quest. |
