Following on from the release of “Somewhere to Go”, we have launched an international series of EPs, reflecting the truly international nature of Tehmussin activities. “Desert Songs” and “Tehmussin’s Rebetika” are works of music, poetry and art. But “Dangerous Music” is exactly that - “Dangerous Music”. The music of Tehmussin is beautiful expression that reaches to orchestral euphoria, but it is also sincere, spiritually deep and meaningful, and it is politically engaged. We are indie artists with something to say and always faithful to the message of the Angel, “Sing of your world. Sing tales of travel, songs of adventure, stories of meaningful discovery, of love and life, of suffering and joy, and above all of spiritual dreams.” “Dangerous Music”, so to speak, drew the short straw. It is the English Language follow up to “Somewhere to Go” and it in intended to strike home at the demons that currently beset the Western World. So listen up, all ye who would, for this is what you wait to hear. The currently planned song line up is: 1. Lions 2. The Jeep 3. Banshees 4. Something going on 5. Thus Spake Gonzalo Lira 6. Desert Guy like me Fans of Tehmussin may notice that “Desert Guy Like Me” is recorded in 3 versions and is on all 3 of the EPs. If this gives you the impression that we have great expectations for this song - you would be right. Early days yet. Apart from anything else, we are in the process of upgrading our recording studio equipment. Keep in touch for updates.
