The Angel Tehmussin In times of legend, thousands of years ago, the Titan Mnemosyne gave us divine inspiration for literature, music, art and science in the form of her daughters, the nine muses. By the light of this inspiration, humanity has evolved a rich and beautiful spectrum of cultures and ideas, and Mnemosyne was content to see this fulfilment of her plans - until now, when recent developments have disturbed her peace. Hence Mnemosyne has now returned to us. The same in spirit and character and with the same intension to inspire us to excellence in our endeavours; and through that, ultimately, to understand the divine purpose of our world. The same Mnemosyne, yet adapting herself to our age and styling herself now as, “Mnemosyne reincarnate: The Angel Tehmussin”. The Message of the Angel Tehmussin “The future of humanity is founded upon this: the freedom of the individual to find inspiration from the nine muses, and to use the gifts of the Seven Stars to the fulfilment of that inspiration.” The Seven Stars “Imagination to be inspired. Ingenuity to achieve and enough strength to achieve it with. Courage to dare. Memory to build upon and intelligence to bind it all into one; and compassion for all the world. These are the gifts of the stars to men, for each of us to use for a moment to the best accomplishment that he can; thereby to find his destiny, and himself.” From “The Thirsty Horse of Mongolia”, by Anthony Sansom The nine Muses Calliope: Epic Poetry Clio: history Terpsicore: Dance and verse Melpomene: Tragedy Urania: Astrology Polyhimnia: Mime Uterpie: flute Erato : Lyric Choral Thalia : Comedy |
